I’m curious what the people here who pushed for him to leave think.

I don’t have an especially high opinion of Gillibrand overall, but I agree with her actions here. Franken just wasn’t being honest with the other Senators and couldn’t provide them with confidence that they wouldn’t be asked to defend more and more harassing behavior. Gillibrand was right to put and end to the drip-drip-drip.
