re: #65 Angus Day

Cripes, it’s getting as bad as CNN in here.

He isn’t being ‘re-instated’. He isn’t a Bishop, nor has the Pontiff made him, or re-instated him, to a Bishop - he is not a catholic Bishop, he never was a Catholic Bishop, and, as long as he holds the views he does, the Pontiff has made it clear, he never will hold any position within the church.

He is now able to receive communion within normal catholic churches - that is all.

Can all of you who are shouting nonsense about this tell me - at your church, are people’s views on historical events checked before they are received? Should the Catholic Church be adding new parts to the catechism, relating to the Holocaust? Is it only the holocaust, or are we to check for other loony views on history?

Apparently not. Some of the posters should be aware of the routine anti-Christian crap emanating from the hearts and mouths of my Jewish relatives (and of course, in many cases, theirs too) before condemning any other hateful ignoramus - who now stands a better chance of changing his evil ways than he did before this outreach.

I’m off to work now, and so, will be bowing out of this particular bit of mayhem.
