my boys best two friends in the world are a couple of mates he played football with for ten years…one played at AZ State and now plays semi pro hockey, the other played QB at WMU and went into coaching…my kid opted out for pre med…sports are important, especially football on several levels…you’ll see
couldn’t agree more. learning to balance the time commitments of academics and sports teaches time management, dedication, etc, etc. show me two resumes with the same GPA and equal credentials except for sports participation, and i automatically favor the individual who demonstrated a broader range of success.
