Didn’t the Obama team have a really, really tough application for appointees with, like, 93 questions and demands for all back emails, correspondence, connections, tax returns, and anal probes to weed out any candidates who might cause embarrassment to the president?

That worked out well.

Either Daschle lied on his application or they decided he was too important to make him fill it out.
