Salon seems to have changed its stylebook. It’s allowing much more ranting and applying less and less standards on what claims can be made.

I suspect it’s not even a partisan move, it’s just a business one. Strong emotions drive traffic better than dry reading that’s solidly-founded.

NYDN seems to be taking the same route. That last Shaun King opinion piece was a bunch of non sequiturs sourced to 4chan.
