my client’s crisis is not my crisis
sometimes it’s hard to doand often it’s either not a real crisis anyway, or was self induced/own goal
Given the nature of my former employer, there were some crises that were “my” crises, as in, if I don’t take care of them, the client fires us, and then my boss fires me. For example: Their production system goes down completely, I should make a best-effort attempt to respond in a timely fashion. If it’s literally anything else, I was perfectly justified in waiting until the morning.
