May I inquire if or why you gave up this dream?

I lived there for a few years; quite an experience (good, overall.)

I wanted to be in the Jet program and then I got ill with some Lupus type ailment and I could not go. I took 3 years of Japanese and had invested so much into learning about the culture. I was really disappointed. I ended up just getting a grad degree and you know, time slips away…
