That story isn’t over. It seems to have produced one suicide already.

This rabbit hole is starting to get deeper. It reminds me of a local (Texas) case going on right now… A 17-year-old girl was shot during a break in earlier in the year, but it turns out she had arranged the whole thing with the two gunmen, and got caught in the crossfire and killed. The owner of the house was apparently into drugs, and *he* in turn was found dead in a burning SUV last week. They’ve since arrested the two people who killed him, and one of them has the same last name as the house owner victim, but isn’t related. Investigation is still ongoing. All we need yet is a tie-in to a state legislator somehow, and we have a Coen brothers movie.

Sometimes pulling on a thread just gets you a thread, other times it unravels the whole cloth.
