I spent 2 years at KI Sawyer AFB in the early 80s. I have never complained about cold weather after living up there.

Were you there for the Giant Lance generation in January of ‘81? Seemed like half the FMS Squadron ended up in the hospital with frostbite. We were all in full arctic gear up in the cockpits and were still freezing our asses off.
