There’s a lot of hyperventilating on the subject, but it’s a perfectly valid and even necessary debate to discuss the targeted killing program and what the limits of the executive branch are.

It would be nice to tone down the hysteria and talk about this issue with the seriousness it deserves, but that’s not what we do these days.

I can see why it would be necessary in dealing with international terrorists, but it still needs some clarifications and should be kept under close scrutiny and oversight. It should be a last resort, not a “go to” solution.
