MSNBC has a 3-hour daily show called Mornin Joe hosted by former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough. The problem for MSNBC is that Mornin Joe runs in the same slot as Fox and Friends.

Viewers can get a pure fix from Fox, untainted by reality. MSNBC can’t compete with that, short of becoming it.
