Indeed and I’ve noticed they bleep stuff, like bitch and damn which is odd because you hear it on TV all the time. I guess that’s a Clear Channel deal. Someone posted an article awhile back here, San Fran article about the loss of good rock on the radio and the Clear Channel takeover.

Homogenous radio = death of radio. They get rid of DJs and automate stations, make it so there’s no local programming. it’s the Wal-Martization of broadcast radio. There’s a sort of effects processor CC uses sometimes that automatically lessens the vocal pauses from radio hosts, so they all sound like they’re coked up when they talk. with nod ead air. So the syndicated show is sped up, so they can sell more ads.
