Regarding the story about the racist University of Alabama sorority girl, the name was quite jarring. Just one letter different from a recent Miss Alabama, an entirely different person. In high school she founded an organization that got eye exams for thousands of children. Talking with my wife one day, it turns out that we each knew her but did not know that the other spouse did.

In defense of the wretched Crimson, the racist in question was out-of-state from New Jersey.
