I think most sex scandals died circa 1999. There has to be an aggravating circumstance for it to really take hold. Like an anti-gay Senator trolling airport bathrooms or a governor hiking the Appalachian trail.

The sex scandal needs a hook…. It has to be lyrical and roll off the tongue.
