What separates college athletes from professionals doing the same thing? Not every college athlete is going to make it big in the pros or want to.

I worked for in College Sports in the 1980’s (when they first started their patchwork attempts at “reform”) and it is a massive scam.

The Football and Basketball players should be hired as full-time employees. Deduct their tuition and expenses from that, let them work part-time on their degree in the off season and give them a chance to finish their degree once their four-year stint in the de facto NFL/NBA Minor Leagues are up.
