As and for charity… gosh, if I were more conpsiratorially-minded, I’d say the purpose of that is to dry up private charity, and further ensure that everyone has to turn to Big Daddy Gummint when they need help.

I’m pretty sure the ultimate goal is to eliminate the middle class entirely. We’ll end up with 2 classes: 49% who pay taxes, and 51% who receive the benefits from them.

As long as the non-productive are the majority, they’ll keep the Dems in power forever. Pretty much how it works now on a local level in places like Chicago.

Or Mexico, for that matter.
