I can only begin to imagine the arguments the Right would bring out against any such initiative in America: from “creeping socialsm” (to each according to his needs, from each according to his income) to discouraging people to become rich in order to avoid high traffic fines.

Face it, one of the motivations of becoming rich in this country is so that you can oafford to scoff at the law…
