The lawyer for one of the women who is made this accusation says he might not have know about that settlement.

However he says he is innocent. That the accusations are baseless. Assume for shits and giggles that he is telling the truth. How do you think he could prove it?

In 10 days, he couldn’t do any research into the story and come up with a plausible answer? We’re not talking a reporter ambushing him with the question, he knew the questions were coming.
