far from denying repercussions, Dems these days are running around like decapitated chickens. Everyone from Barney Frank to Jim Webb to Obama himself is talking “wake up call” or “time out to re-set”.

it’s called politics. Dems are not energized, the “wake up call” rhetoric is a way to get their base back in the game after being disillusioned.
