The Republicans should be out there screaming that this stimulus package is just Democrats bailing out their “Rich Friends”.

They won’t, much.

This is convenient for the Republicans. They can all vote against it, brag that they did, let the Democrats take the public relations hit and tons of their special interests will still get their handouts.

Before the election, the Republicans were all over the place giving handout away, McCain couldn’t get to DC fast enough to do his good deed.

Just for fun, watch how McCain votes. He’ll probably vote no, which is a firm indication that the Republicans are just playing good cop, bad cop in this.

This time they get to be good cop.
