The poll used registered voters, not likely voters
Beshear and Stumbo are both Dems.

Then it’s of limited use if looks at only registered voters; the problem has always been that Democrats are less likely to vote for a whole range of issues including that polling hours/polling places are less convenient for them — especially if early voting is unavailable
