They must like the show a lot. Less than 40,000 humans remain of a society that numbered in the Hundreds of Billions and was spread out amongst at least 12 planets. Just think of the control that an organization like the UN could wield over humanity that numbered less than the attendance at an NFL game.

The final episode explains why there are so few humans. It wasn’t the Cylons, Obama taxed them to death.
