Me too. Big decision!

That just means we need to run for national office, though. Why the heck not? We are more qualified than the person currently running our country!

I dream about throwing my hat in against Senator Mary Landrieu. Not starting small with the school board or city council or even a state senator or representative. I think about going straight to the top. Then I think, “Hell, I have zero experience in politics.” THEN I think, “Who would vote for me, a nobody?” THEN I think, “Good grief, they all must be as sick of the good-old-boy politicians as I am!” ……THEN I think, “Do I even want to tangle with that nest of vipers!?” …….and then, I think YES. 7-8 times out of ten, I think YES, I DO.

This is, after all, Louisiana politics. Look at Huey Long. Look at William Cao. He is a big inspiration to me. (He is the come-from-nowhere REPUBLICAN who took William Jefferson’s U.S. House of Representatives DEMOCRAT seat in New Orleans. I am so proud of that man.)
