He could be right in that the GOP seems to have fought off some of the wingnuttiness that has been exhibited by many. Not all, of course, but, you know, baby steps.

A guy who looks like a lunatic has muscled his way to being the #2 contender for the GOP nomination on the back of birth certificate talk…how does that equate to fighting off wingnuttiness in any sense? Do you or Frum really believe that Trump carrying the banner for this nonsense is going to stop Gingrich or anyone else from using it for their own gain? The half governor certainly isn’t distancing herself from it!
