Chess is the perfect symbol: blacks and whites segregated.

When I played in tournaments, I won more games with the black pieces. Had a master rating in correspondence chess. Sadly the fun went out of it when people started cheating with computers. Now I just play quick games on Pogo but even then people are getting computer assistance.
