Unless you tell me that the Hadcrut3 dataset is obsolete and not used in any of the science anymore, my question stands and is valid.

And don’t try to avoid my question by saying you don’t understand my inquiry. If you are so up and current on the temperature collection from 1850 onward, my question makes perfect sense and a scientist would have no problem understanding it and giving me a scientific answer.

NO Walter I am saying that there are many much more sophisicated models. As to the grid sizes, since that is what you were referring to, you are wrong. Hadcrut 3 is much better than that. Now I asked you to be specific. Are you talking about the code for one of the models or about the data set?
