When I first cogitated on this matter I thought “I would bow too if that helped keep a supply of oil coming to us to meet our needs.”. Then I thought again, and realized the Saudis need our money as badly as we need their oil. It seems to me that it is a reasonable tradeoff. The bowing is merely a form of greeting there. No point is getting your pants in a twist over it. Just keep the oil coming. When we don’t have to depend on the desert dwellers, only then we can afford to snub them. Not now.
