Not at the joint I was working at. Our pizza was crap.

Another great caller:

I go into the joint to prep before opening, I am the first and only one there. I’m not there for more than five minutes when someone calls, complaining that their pizza is an hour late and demanding a free one.

I explain that no one was here an hour ago, and that we aren’t even open yet. I suggest that maybe he called a different pizza joint. He adamantly insists that it was in fact my shop.

I tell him that he is either full of shit and trying to scam a free pizza, or he was talking to a ghost, because NO ONE was here an hour ago.

After a few seconds of silence, he begins to place an order, as if our conversation never happened. I politely tell him to fuck off, and hang up.
