On Topic - Glenn Beck is an idiot and continues to be.

Off Topic - Value Added Taxes are not free. They are regressive. They will also knock many low margin businesses out of business. They are also costly to administer. Once Government’s have them they can’t get rid of them - they employ too many administrators and generate too much revenue (even though they see lower income taxes as a result).

That’s the goal and objective with the current and most pressing war on capitalism.
