It’s the pain. Staying active does a lot to help the body cope with pain, but what about when you can’t be active. I keep trying to convince myself that someday I’ll have a justified excuse to stay zoned out on narcotics 24/7. But, then I remember I’ll be too old to enjoy it.

Pain can be a real problem. Mom had chronic pain, but hated the narcotics. I do even less well with narcotics than she did, so I’m hoping I never need ‘em.
