re: #906 Lynn B.

Once again, since you (and several others) have ignored this every other time I’ve posted it:

[snip]

The protests you’re talking about were against Merkel as much as against Israel. Merkel has pretty much stood alone among European leaders in her support of Israel, as most Israelis are very well aware. You’re trying to find hypocrisy when there isn’t any.

I can’t ignore what I haven’t seen. Goodness, do you think people read every single post in the threads they follow? So this is the first time I’ve seen your information.

You, on the other hand, seem to have read my posts, so how can you be so unclear on what I’m saying? Merkel’s support for Israel is not in question. Her and others’ total and permanent lack of public outrage about the daily, hourly Jew-hating poison spewed around the Muslims world by clerics and laypeople alike, both abroad and at home is what I’m excoriating. It is time that the work of MEMRI and others exposing the Holocaust-affirming and new-Holocaust-promoting fanatics gets front-page coverage as well. It should be on every news site and commented on by every politician.

Trouble is, that would mean tackling an enemy who’s right on their doorstep, if not already in the house, and that takes courage. Not the kind that earns you applause from those who hate the Catholic Church, but the kind that earns you a 24-hour guard.

I’m not holding my breath.

But by all means, let’s keep beating Williamson’s dead horse while the hyenas stalk their living prey.
