Look I am not treating everyone like a moron. I really am not. What I am doing is standing for an unpopular view.

The unpopular view is that American values matter, and Americans discounting them is hypocrisy.

While I agree there are some really stupid posters here, most of them are smart enough to know better than to argue against core American principles. The ones who do are hypocrites.

I agree with you. But the *tone* has been somewhat extreme.

The 9/11 attacks were crimes and should be treated as such. Crimes writ large, no doubt, but terrorist attacks equivalent, within the law, to the Oklahoma City and the ‘93 WTC attacks. Those attacks were efficiently handled within the Civil Courts. No reason these trials should not be equally fair, with similar results.

KSM is, given the fact that he offered to plead guilty to a military tribunal, guilty as sin. We should not fear a civil trial.
