I understand why people are so desperate to find concrete proof of their faith but if God was going to put obvious finger prints on everything what would be the point of faith? It seems like they’re trying to use pseudo-science to buoy themselves through a crisis of faith instead of facing up to it. It just seems to be internally inconsistent from the outset. That and the Devil faking carbon dating just seem off the deep end.

Faith is a luxury, no one really needs it.
