Okay, I’ve officially reduced a pot of salted water (for pasta) to a white crust on the bottom of said pot not once, but twice.

I guess that’s an indicator that I should step away from the keyboard until the pasta is actually cooked this time. You guys try not to say anything terribly witty or interesting for the next 15-20 minutes or so, mkay?

Don’t salt the water when you boil pasta.
