Monday we are driving back to Detroit. The drive down took longer than I thought it would. Srsly what was I thinking? It’s straight down the middle of the USA, why would I think that it would take less time to drive than to New York?

At least the roads were all nice and dry, and Thursday the roads were practically empty.

Monday will be a regular traffic day.

My son has offered to drive back with us to share some of the driving stress and then fly back to Alabama.

Take the offer, or provide reasons why not!!
