- his team is scared of him going off script in public
- they’re not thrilled that he lies - to them and to the public
- they know he keeps ‘stepping in it’ (‘good air / bad air’?)
- and that he’s a rank amateur, in way over his head. (Senator Walker? statesman? really?)

recently there are lots of stories about his staff anonymously admitting all this
(at least it’s more or less real time and they’re not waiting to write books)

but a la TFG, no one’s quitting
