re: #853 Sharmuta OK, I just went and read her comments and understand what you’re saying. But her #266 doesn’t seem offensive to me - Charles has said himself that belief in God doesn’t preclude belief in Evolution and that we shouldn’t teach Creationism/ID in the classroom - something at least that Sprite apparently also believes in.
And, fwliw, a number - perhaps a half dozen or so - LGF’ers who haven’t been banned have e-mailed me saying they feel that Christians are being bashed on the ID threads and so they don’t come to those threads anymore (in fact many of them don’t come to LGF anymore and they haven’t been banned). And no I don’t know why they’ve e-mailed me: I have zero influence out here.
I don’t like the way the ID threads have evolved much myself - there sure seems to be a LOT of vitriol spewed at both sides in this fight. Her calling Charles on HAVING these threads was totally uncalled for however, and if she’s been busy down-dinging folks “on the sly” then to hell with her.

FOLKS - if y’all don’t like the creationist/ID threads, just don’t read ‘em - move on to something else.
