One silver lining to the pandemic is that its rid Pelosi of her obsession with Paygo out of necessity. The Democrats need to prepare a huge relief bill to push through reconciliation asap in January.

This will probably be an unpopular opinion, but if they can get 1.8 trillion from the republicans now, they should do it. Of course it isn’t even clear the Rs will agree to that.

Then once they win the presidency, senate and house they can pass whatever supplemental funding they need to, but 3 months is a long time to wait when you are about to be evicted, especially when you have already been waiting for 3 months.
