I don’t really want to argue with you, but I’d suggest that northern racists have nothing to do with justifying racists anywhere else.

I understand why people feel defensive, but you simply can’t deny the history of systemic racism, or the klan, or whatever.

Again nobody is saying that everyone in the south is an evil racist, but deflecting, or pulling a TQ or anything, doesn’t add to the conversation at all.

And I would say racism, wherever it exists and is active, is ugly, and northern racists don’t deserve the pass you seem to have given them above.
