I appreciate your moral concerns and seriously find them laudable. However, in point of fact, Williamson was not ordained in the Church as a Bishop, nor is he considered a legitimate Bishop by the Church. He was ordained as a priest and became a Bishop under Lefebvre’s breakaway sect .. for which he, along w/other adherents to the sect, were excommunicated. He will remain a priest, but not be allowed to perform the functions of a priest.
