Overall it’s not the medium of liberals. The internet is a better medium for liberals, AM radio is a better medium for conservatives.

AM radio, after the fairness doctrine thankfully died, but before there was much of an internet, was blogosphere 1.0 . The media needed balance, and market forces were crying out for something. The left had Dan Rather at 5:30; we had Rush at lunch.

Now, is radio a right wing thing because of something intrinsic, or just because the Right got there first and NPR sucks some of the air out of the room for the Left?
