I see that I owe apologies to several people. Had I known at the original post that the writer had such an admirable history of his own, I probably would have reacted differently. I must, however, stick with my own convictions that it is wrong for the POTUS to crawl into the lap of our enemies, who have made it abundantly clear, in print, in audio, and in videos such as this one, that they are beyond reason at any level.

Cato, I do admire and commend you and your exemplary accomplishments and your dedication to this cause. I apologize for the offense I have given you.

LeePro, I thank you for the gracious apology, and sincerely accept it. I also respect your opinion about POTUS. I don’t necessarily see the Muslim world as a monolithic “they”, any more than the West is a monolith, or Christianity, or black or white people. But this is something we can discuss and I welcome your viewpoint.
