Speaking of foreign policy hopeyness:

I torture myself listening to NPR, so you don’t have to… and this morning, while patting themselves on their liberal backs about how the Obama Administration “will be emphasizing diplomacy instead of force”, they were moaning about how terrible it is that the Pentagon has a much bigger budget than the State Department, and vastly greater manpower!

Hey, geniuses… maybe because there’s never really any circumstance under which it makes sense to deploy 200,000 diplomats to a given country?
