Mythbusters made arrangements to help them test it using jet engines, but didn’t build any of them.

Jamie did design and build a personal protection system that could be used for a single person.

Same here. But now that they’ve axed Kari, Grant, and Tory I can’t seem to be bothered. (OK, especially Kari—I am a Dirty Old Man™ after all.)
