I believe the Bible says ” pride go’eth before a fall “.
Obama is feeling the power and importance at the moment but
ultimately Obama will be his own worst enemy, even if the Washington republicans are dysfunctional and feckless.

With respect, the verse is “Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

The sentiment is spot on, though!
