No there is nothing cute about bears. They are dangerous animals period. I am not complaining about them, but there is too much “cute and furry” mentality up here in the mountains. And it is mainly yuppie types who move up here and think that the wild is some sort of personal petting zoo for them.

They do things to attract wildlife, feeding them, encouraging them and the next thing you know, you have a home invasion.

It’s not even good to feed or encourage deer, since I have seen hem get run over by cars and killed because they have become to use to human activity and they are intent on hanging around where they shouldn’t.

Wildlife is interesting, but they are in no way pets.
