I fully expect the GOP Base would explode in xenophobic rage if P.R. Statehood comes before Congress. I doubt many of them realize that Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens.

Yeah I do expect that. Not sure how their congresscritters would act though since as I explained they’re in a really tough place right now. It’s their own creation of course.
