Congrats!

I’m dropping off an application for a custodial job at the local elementary school today. It would be nice - a local, full time job pushing a broom, mop & toilet brush. Thing is, my dad did it for 20+ years at a University and it’s not bad work. I’d rather do it that ever set foot in a factory, let me tell you! Got a great reference letter from my priest and have updated my “stay-at-home” dad bit on the resume to include “cleaning” :)

Do you want to come to my house for a week? Now begins the final phase of “Spring Cleaning,” turning over the kitchen. I have already put away all the pie equipment. All the pantries, drawers, & countertops have to be scrubbed down, new shelf liner put down, and the fridge, oven & stovetop scoured.
