In the governors primary, I really wanted to vote for Cary Kennedy. She is a committed progressive with all kinds of government experience. I voted for Jared Polis, who’s leaving Congress to be governor of Colorado.

And damn it, he can buy the election if he wants. Polis is worth a half billion dollars by some estimates. Right now he’s one of the wealthiest members of Congress.

It’s a Citizens United political atmosphere. So I voted accordingly in the Colorado governors primary.
