Teapot Dome brings back some memories. Memories of not studying it in High School. I recall having to memorize Harding = Teapot Dome scandal, without learning about any of the associated background of politics in the ’20s, Harding, or the scandal at all. Apparently it was standardized test material, so had to be brought up, but not actually taught.

Oh, the wonders of modern public education.
